Transforming Lives: Our Donors, Our Impact As over 7,000 Students Set to Benefit from Generous Educational Donations~

Transforming the learning environment for over 7,000 early childhood and primary students across six education districts in Gbarpolu County and at Jackson Foundation School in Montserrado County, the Teacher Consultant Group Inc. (TCG), in partnership with Senator Amara M. Konneh, the AMK Foundation, and several U.S.-based donors, shipped two 40-foot containers of essential classroom furniture and supplies from the United States to Liberia earlier this year. This generous donation is part of a broader initiative aimed at revamping early childhood classrooms to foster better learning outcomes. With steadfast support from donors including St. Matthew Catholic Church, Rev. Ed Walker, Atlanta Public Schools, Dr. Sean Deas, Warren T. Jackson Primary School, Garnell Jenkins, “Officer” Dawson M. & Vivian, Dr. Debra Coffey, BLOOM (Kennesaw State University), Rev. Fr. Anthony Toe, and Vivian Blackmon, and in partnership with the Amara M. Konneh True Liberia Foundation, the initiative aims to enhance the learning environment and improve student performance by providing essential items such as desks, chairs, tables, whiteboards, stationery, books, sports equipment, child-friendly flooring and clothing all vital for creating safe, comfortable, and engaging environments where children can thrive. TCG remains committed to revitalizing and transforming classrooms across Liberia, making them more conducive to meaningful learning. This campaign represents a significant step toward strengthening Liberia’s educational infrastructure and improving student performance. Expressing his appreciation and hope, Mr. James L. Yolkmod, District Education Officer (DEO) for Bopolu District in Gbarpolu County,
stated: “I can assure you that over 7,000 students will be impacted by this project across the six educational districts of Gbarpolu County. These donations will be an improvement to the learning environment, allowing pre-primary and primary students to study in comfortable conditions.” He also stated that the model classrooms completed are so inviting and children friendly that students of those classrooms don’t even want to leave at the end of the school day. His words highlight the core mission of the initiative: to deliver not just materials, but also hope and opportunity for a brighter educational future.
TCG extends its deepest gratitude to all its generous donors whose contributions made this project possible. Special recognition goes to Atlanta Public Schools, St. Matthew Catholic Church, Rev. Ed Walker,
Dr. Sean Deas, Duanire Elementary School, and the youngest donor, “Officer” Dawson—along with many others, both acknowledged and anonymous. Looking ahead, TCG encourages potential donors to support future efforts. By working together, we can provide every child in Liberia with access to a safe, nurturing, and well-equipped learning environment.
